The SPARK and PIRANHA model manipulators have both been designed mainly to extract sprues from moulds: using these devices allows both the automatic separation of the sprue, as well as the immediate recycling of the material. Moreover it is guaranteed that the sprue will not remain inside the mould when it closes.
