• The FSA type separator is a screw separator with its own drive and is mainly used for separating injection-molded parts and sprue. It even enables parts with little difference in size to be separated. The FSA separator is equipped with a safety slip clutch as standard. This avoids injuries from the auger.
• The screw drum conveys all the larger parts to be separated to the side - smaller parts slide through on the sliding plate under the screw. The built-in fine adjustment of the sliding plate via a threaded spindle enables extremely sensitive adjustment of the distance between the screw drum and sliding plate, even during operation.
• The separator should be at least 100mm wider than the feed width on the separator. (e.g. FSA 600 with feed width 500mm). The use of wider separators, however, improves the separation result or, with critical parts, can make the difference. If in doubt, we recommend trying to separate.
