This Festo solenoid pilot valve is ideal for controlling the flow of compressed air in a pneumatic system. This is a "normally closed" valve, meaning that it prevents air from flowing until a current is applied to the internal coil. The coil then retracts, lifting the piston in the valve and allowing air to enter the system. The valve has a plated-through mounting style, designed for easy installation and to ensure it stays securely in place.
